Construction of a retirement home in Nové Město na Moravě

At the beginning of December, RONELI Stavby SE signed a work contract for the implementation of the construction entitled 'Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren (DECCB), Home Pomněnka, Nové Město na Moravě'. It is a facility designed to care for the elderly with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Among other things the building is interesting for its architectural concept, especially its non-standard ground plan, which has the form of an asymmetrical ellipse. Otherwise, it is a single-storey, partially basement building. The ground floor serves mainly as a space for accommodation and services for the elderly, the 1st underground level as a service floor (laundry, cloakrooms, storerooms, etc.). The home will accommodate up to 30 clients, who will be cared for by 23 staff members. The DECCB is the project investor. The total value of the contract amounts to CZK 90 million and the construction work will start at the end of February and the beginning of March.
